Contraptions: You Can Eat Your Prayers Literally, "The Sutra Noodles"

A noodle shop  from japan had released their own Buddhist sutra noodles. The noodle shop, Nitta Osamu So 新田乃庄, located in Gunma Prefecture 群馬縣, specialized in producing Okkirikomi おきりこみ, a regional variation of the Japanese udon noodles, cut into thin and thick strips.

The Heart Sutra is physically written onto each strip of Okkirikomi noodles they produced. I wonder if they work against Jiangshi?
The scriptures are added onto the noodles using food coloring. So rest assure, they are safe to eat. What is amazing is that the sutra preserved on the noodles even after dipped into boiled broth.
Unfortunately, the noodles are quite pricey. They come in a pack of three servings each and cost 1,620 Japanese yen (approximately 18.83 Canadian dollars or 14.28 US dollars).
For those that are still interested, you can get the noodles HERE!
